The Opportunity:
As an Engineering Design Manager, you’ll play a key role in:
  • Maintain existing designs, revision, managing new product integration, and steering site development projects to support growth.
  • Owning the technical documentation and compliance process, ensuring all systems meet rigorous international standards.
  • Providing hands-on support with complex CAD projects, while also offering oversight and mentorship to a growing design team.
  • Driving structural design and analysis, numerical modelling, and liaising with notified bodies and international technical committees.
  • Managing the commissioning of manufacturing equipment and taking ownership of construction-related engineering initiatives.
  • Your work will directly contribute to the safe, compliant and timely delivery of innovative engineering solutions within a regulated manufacturing environment.
About You:
We’re looking for someone who can bring:
  • Proven structural or mechanical design experience within a safety-critical, manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Strong understanding of product development processes and a disciplined, analytical approach to design evaluation.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, lead suppliers and contractors, and represent the business externally.
  • Ambition to grow into a more senior leadership role in the future, with the desire to build and lead a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience or confidence working with hydraulic, mechanical, electrical or software systems is advantageous.
  • You’ll be naturally curious, confident in your decisions, and humble enough to seek input when needed. Above all, you'll be energised by the opportunity to take a key leadership role within an emerging business.
