The Role:
- Carry out inspections and audits on components and finished products to verify quality and conformity.
- Support new product introductions and component validation.
- Identify non-conformances, raise reports, and assist with corrective actions.
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with company standards and customer requirements.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to improve performance, reliability, and efficiency.
- Contribute to internal reporting on quality trends and performance metrics.
You’ll bring a solid understanding of quality principles, ideally gained in a manufacturing or engineering environment. Highly organised and methodical, you’ll be confident analysing data, spotting patterns, and taking initiative to improve processes. You’ll also have excellent communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving approach.
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in a quality, inspection, or compliance role within manufacturing.
- Strong organisational and reporting abilities.
- Good IT literacy (Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).
- Internal auditing experience or ISO9001 knowledge would be advantageous.
- A flexible attitude and commitment to continuous improvement.
- £26,000 - £32,000 DOE
