Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and improve the company’s quality management system (QMS).
- Ensure that product quality issues are recorded, root causes analysed, and resolutions implemented.
- Manage ISO 9001 compliance through audits, reviews, and addressing non-conformances.
- Conduct and oversee management reviews and internal audits.
- Monitor Health & Safety and Environmental compliance.
- Control waste documentation and maintain proper waste transfer records.
- Assess suppliers and implement supplier accreditation programs.
- Maintain technical documentation for compliance and regulatory purposes.
- Track regulatory updates and ensure internal awareness and compliance.
- Establish procedures for incoming goods inspections to verify specification and condition.
- Proven experience in a quality or compliance leadership role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- In-depth knowledge of ISO9001 and QMS frameworks.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work across multiple departments and ensure engagement with compliance procedures.
- A proactive and systematic approach to continuous improvement.
- Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum
