Our client is seeking a passionate Quality Engineer to join their forward thinking manufacturing organisation currently investing heavily in innovation, technology and best in class operational excellence. As a Quality Engineer, you will support the quality function in enhancing systems and processes that underpin the company’s growth ambitions. We welcome applications from Quality Engineers from automotive, aerospace, FMCG, precision engineering or any sector where rigour, right first time performance and lean thinking are central. The principles translate seamlessly and full support will be provided to help you build industry specific knowledge.

As Quality Engineer, key responsibilities will include
  • Auditing production processes to strengthen controls and improve consistency
  • Performing finished goods audits and leading corrective action activity where required
  • Preparing and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures that support growth and operational excellence
  • Identifying workflow or production issues and collaborating cross functionally to resolve them
  • Working in cross functional teams supporting NPI processes, 8D investigations and root cause analysis
  • Creating training materials and operating standards aligned with new processes and procedures
  • Participating and contributing in PFMEA workshops, supporting risk reduction and process robustness
  • Creating quality control plans that reinforce consistency and support continuous improvement
The Quality Engineer will ideally have
  • Experience in a similar quality engineering role within a manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with lean tools, Six Sigma or recognised automotive style improvement techniques
  • Strong and demonstrable team working across functions
  • Strong ISO systems knowledge and experience working within structured quality frameworks
  • A demonstrable background supporting continuous improvement initiatives
  • A proactive, can do approach with the ability to work confidently on your own initiative
