Our client is seeking a Fitter Maintenance Engineer to join their dynamic engineering team and contribute to their continued growth.
    
The role of Fitter Maintenance Engineer is a varied one, covering maintenance and fitter duties on all machines and the manufacturing facility.
  
The company is a leading manufacturer in their field and are a long-standing well-known business based in Hull.
  
The working hours cover a day shift Monday to Friday.

The Fitter Maintenance Engineer role:
  • Maintain service and repair plant machinery to minimise production down time.
  • Reactive and PPM duties. Electrical and Mechanical.
  • Ensure faults, breakdowns or issues are logged and reported correctly.
  • Carry out fault finding and repair of equipment and facilities.
  • Setting up machines in the production facility.
  • Tool changes.
The Candidate:
  • A background in manufacturing environments, ideally with good exposure to both manual and automated production equipment.
  • Fitting and maintenance experience.
  • Strong team working capabilities.
