Consortium are looking for an experienced Export Coordinator to join their valued client.

The successful candidate will be responsible for dealing with external customers and suppliers abroad, container shipping lines, banks and other internal teams. 

Duties:
  • Accurately check and create shipping documents in a timely manner
  • Manage portfolio of key accounts
  • Raise proforma invoices to enable deposits to be paid
  • Arrange Pre-Shipment inspections
  • Timely release of Bills of Lading
  • Appraise draft Letters of Credit before issuance and preparation of documents
  • Liaise with shipping lines for amendments and issuance of original bills of lading
  • Prepare Insurance Certificate and issuance of Bank Collections
  • Arrange local courier for shipping documents and Tracking Notes for shipments
  • Arranging Certificates of Origin with the Chamber of Commerce
Qualifications and Skills
  • Accurate data input
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to work to deadlines and under pressure
  • Knowledge of shipping documentation requirements and export/import 
  • Letters of Credit and bills of lading knowledge
