The Role
Working on a 4 on 4 off days shift, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and improving a range of automated production and packaging equipment within a fast-paced FMCG environment. You’ll play a key role in minimising downtime, improving reliability, and supporting continuous improvement across the site.

The Role
Working on a 4 on 4 off days shift, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and improving a range of automated production and packaging equipment within a fast-paced FMCG environment. You’ll play a key role in minimising downtime, improving reliability, and supporting continuous improvement across the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
- Fault finding on electrical and mechanical systems.
- Working with PLCs, relays, and variable speed drives (VSDs).
- Supporting process improvements and engineering projects.
- Collaborating with operations teams to ensure smooth running of production.
- You’ll be a time-served Maintenance Engineer or Technician with a strong multi-skilled (electrical/mechanical) background.
- Experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, or a fast-paced automated environment is highly desirable.
- The candidate can be either bias, but must be confident in both Electrical and Mechanical fault finding
- Confident working with PLCs, relays, and drives
- A self-starter who enjoys problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- £49,750 annual salary.
- Permanent 4 on 4 off days shift pattern (no nights).
