This is a FTC position running to minimum end in December 24 for a Senior Project Engineer to join a thriving operation and support them in defining and delivering a suite of efficiency and op ex projects aligned with ongoing investment.

As the Senior Project Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting existing, scoping, and delivering projects designed to improve site operations and drive efficiency gains, improve safety, and enhance stakeholder value.

Working closely within a well resourced function, you will liaise with key stakeholders and act as the driving force for agreeing priorities and programmes of work then executing as required.

In order to be effective in this role, the Senior Project Engineer will have experience:
  • Independently managing complex projects
  • Proficiency in conducting Root Cause Analysis
  • Competence in Value Stream Mapping
  • Knowledgeable in Lean principles
  • In lean or Six Sigma methodologies
  • Utilising project scheduling tools and conducting risk assessments in line with your work
  • Willingness to travel as needed
Key responsibilities as Senior Project Engineer:
  • Conducting feasibility assessments to identify project concepts relating to site and operational improvements.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop and agree project proposals.
  • Lead vendor sourcing & selection aligned to project needs
  • Defining project parameters and outcomes, as well as managing and reporting on progress against expectations.
  • Effective management of budgets, schedules, and contractor performance.
  • Provide visibility to relevant stakeholders throughout programmes of works
  • Develop and agree post-completion monitoring processes and criteria for metrics to measure project efficacy.
