The Senior Engineering Project Manager will support ongoing investment into our clients’ manufacturing facilities.

You will be responsible for scoping, and delivering projects designed to improve site operations and drive efficiency gains, improve safety, enhance stakeholder value and reach operational objectives. You will have a background within manufacturing environments and demonstrate sound appreciation of project management of programmes relating to site investment.

Working closely with stakeholders in varied functions, you will act as the driving force for agreeing priorities and programmes of work as well as delivering projects on time within budget.

Key responsibilities as Senior Engineering Project Manager role:
  • Conducting feasibility assessments to identify project concepts relating to site and operational improvements.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop and agree project proposals.
  • Lead vendor sourcing & selection aligned to project needs
  • Defining project parameters and outcomes, as well as managing and reporting on progress against expectations.
  • Effective management of budgets, schedules, and contractor performance.
  • Provide visibility to relevant stakeholders throughout programmes of works
  • Develop and agree post-completion monitoring processes and criteria for metrics to measure project efficacy.

In order to be effective in this role, the Senior Engineering Project Manager will have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline.
  • Ideally a qualification relating to project management eg Prince2.
  • Demonstrable Project Management expertise delivering improvement programmes within manufacturing settings,
  • The ability to oversee multiple complex projects concurrently
  • Proficiency in CDM 2015 regulations
  • Strong focus on safety
  • Demonstrable ability to collaborate and work with diverse project teams.
  • Knowledge of CAD packages would be advantageous
  • Track record of meeting budgetary and timeline requirements.
  • Willingness to travel as needed both domestically and globally
