Looking to take the next step in your career? Our client is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their dedicated team and contribute to their continued growth.
    
The role of Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer is a varied one, covering maintenance services across a wide range of plant and equipment within the manufacturing facility.
  
The company is a leading manufacturer in their field and are a long-standing well-known business based in Pocklington.
  
They operate a rotating weekly shift pattern offering an excellent work life balance. 4 x Days one week, 4 x nights the next week. Monday to Thursday.

The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer role:
  • Maintain service and repair plant machinery to minimise production down time.
  • Reactive and PPM duties. Electrical and Mechanical.
  • Ensure faults, breakdowns or issues are logged and reported correctly.
  • Carry out fault finding and repair of equipment and facilities.
  • Willingly take up opportunities for training in specialist plant and equipment.
The Candidate:
  • A background in manufacturing environments, ideally with good exposure to both manual and automated production equipment
  • Understanding of continuous improvement initiatives
  • Strong team working capabilities
  • Able to read drawings and electrical diagrams
