Salary: £51,200 + Overtime + Pension + Life Assurance
Shift Pattern: 12-hour rotating shifts (days and nights, 24/7 operation)
We’re supporting a long-established FMCG manufacturer in Hull that continues to invest heavily in its people, plant, and processes. As part of their ongoing growth, they’re seeking skilled Electrical Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineers to join their high-performing maintenance team.

Your focus will be on ensuring equipment reliability through planned preventative maintenance, swift and safe breakdown response, and continuous improvement activities. It’s a great environment for someone who enjoys a mix of hands-on problem-solving and longer-term reliability projects.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on a wide range of production equipment
- Responding promptly to Electrical and Mechanical breakdowns, using root cause analysis to drive sustainable solutions
- Maintaining compliance with food safety, hygiene, and site standards
- Contributing to continuous improvement and reliability-focused initiatives
- Performing electrical fault finding, repairs, and supporting mechanical activities where needed
- Working collaboratively across engineering, production, and quality teams
- Time-served or qualified Engineer with strong electrical and mechanical capability
- Must have proven Electrical qualifications
- Experience within FMCG, food, or other fast-moving, process-driven environments
- Solid understanding of preventative maintenance and asset care principles
- Confident fault finder with a methodical approach to problem-solving
- Skilled in electrical work including isolations, repairs, and control systems troubleshooting
- A proactive, solutions-driven team player who takes pride in delivering high standards
