This role is ideal for a professional with strong AutoCAD skills and experience in process and instrumentation drawings, looking to grow their career in a dynamic environment.
  
Role Purpose & Key Responsibilities
  • Create 2D layouts, P&IDs, and foundation drawings using AutoCAD.
  • Develop 3D models, including steelwork and equipment.
  • Produce detailed fabrication drawings.
  • Provide guidance to junior designers and review their work when required.
  • Lead drafting input on projects, ensuring quality and compliance.
  • Conduct site visits when needed.
Candidate Requirements
  • Minimum HNC in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Demonstrated expertise in AutoCAD 2D and 3D.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills with contractors, suppliers, and team members.

Salary & Benefits
  • £40,000 to £50,000 depending on experience
