Ergo Centre

Consortium Professional Recruitment has moved into the largest unit at the Ergo Centre in Hessle to accommodate rapid team growth and future hiring plans. The expansion keeps the business within the community it enjoys while providing additional room for collaboration, client meetings, and training.

Why the move

“We love the Ergo Centre. When the biggest unit became available, we knew it was the right step for our people and our clients,” said Director Dawn. “Our team is expanding, and this move gives us space to grow with purpose.”

Better spaces for clients and candidates

The Ergo Centre is an ideal setting for meetings, with a variety of professional spaces that suit everything from quick catchups to larger client sessions. CPR also maintains a second office within the building for confidential conversations, which doubles as a comfortable breakout area for focused work and downtime.

Guided by our values

The decision to scale up was guided by CPR’s values of Human First and High Achievement. Human First involves creating a workplace where colleagues and visitors feel welcomed, supported, and listened to, so the new layout prioritises natural light and plenty of space for plants. High Achievement means setting a high bar for delivery, so the space includes well-equipped break-out spaces and collaboration zones that help the team solve problems quickly and deliver results.

What visitors can expect

The building’s facilities support wellbeing and productivity. On-site parking and cycle storage simplify commuting, while nearby green spaces and the café offer easy options for short breaks. Technology-enabled meeting rooms support hybrid conversations, and the extra breakout areas give teams room to think, plan, and recalibrate between busy periods.

Looking ahead

“We were fortunate that the largest unit came up for grabs,” added Managing Director David. “We took it with confidence, knowing the team will continue to grow over the coming months.” CPR will continue to invest in training and technology, with upcoming roles across delivery and client services to meet demand from employers across the region.
