You will act as the central point of contact for all procurement activities related to your assigned project, working closely with project team, internal stakeholders, and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

Consortium are pleased to be representing a highly successful manufacturer that are looking for a Project Procurement Lead for a major project that is entering its next phase.
About the Role:
As the Project Procurement Lead, you will play a critical role in the success of the project by securing the necessary goods and services at the best possible value. You will act as the central point of contact for all procurement activities related to your assigned project, working closely with project team, internal stakeholders, and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive procurement plans for assigned projects, ensuring alignment with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Manage the entire procurement process, from requirements gathering and supplier identification to negotiation, contract management, and delivery.
- Conduct thorough market research and identify qualified suppliers, evaluating bids and negotiating the best terms and conditions.
- Manage and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
- Oversee the timely delivery of goods and services, monitor performance, and proactively address any issues or risks.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant procurement policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Actively participate in project meetings and provide regular updates on procurement activities.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate potential procurement risks.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project procurement, with a proven track record of success in large capital projects.
- Strong understanding of procurement best practices and methodologies.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, effectively managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proficient in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
