As part of their on-going growth and development, our client is looking to appoint an experienced and driven Production Planner to take control of, and develop the businesses planning activities.

As Production Planner, you will be responsible for:
  • Planning, preparing and producing production schedules to achieve customer requirements
  • Produce and issue production works orders
  • Understand minimum and maximum stock levels to plan efficiently
  • Monitor and optimise stocks effectively
  • Work closely with all internal departments to ensure visibility against demand
  • Update bill of materials with new registered component parts within MRP system
  • Develop and issue reports to track site performance
  • Updating the MRP system
  • Identifying and supporting projects in progressing the planning processes within the company
  • Managing any plan changes in a timely manner and updating appropriate departments or customers, with potential impacts as appropriate
This position is well suited to someone who:
  • Has at least 2 or 3 years in a planning role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Communicates well both internally and externally.
  • Has strong Excel skills
  • Has Experience working with ERP and MRP systems
  • Possesses strong Analytical skills
  • Wants to progress and develop as a professional.
