In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring the smooth coordination, tracking, and planning of specialist logistics equipment—supporting efficient operations across internal teams, external partners, and customers.


About the role

As the Logistics Asset Planner, you duties will include but not be limited to:
  • Monitor real-time status of assets and maintain accurate records of usage, certification, and compliance.
  • Schedule cleaning of assets based on previous use and upcoming operational requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and third-party partners (rail, sea freight, cleaning facilities) to ensure efficient allocation and availability.
  • Liaise with transport providers and stakeholders to coordinate movements, schedules, and service expectations.
  • Ensure correct technical matching of assets to products, enforcing cleaning protocols.
  • Promote safety and regulatory compliance across all planning activities.
  • Contribute to commercial planning, support continuous improvement, and assist with onboarding new business opportunities.

About you
  • Experience of asset planning within logistics, preferably within a high-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and sound decision-making under pressure.
  • Organised, detail-focused, and able to juggle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Commercially aware, with a solid understanding of logistics software, databases, and Microsoft Office tools.
