Consortium is pleased to be partnering with our client in their search for a Senior Draughtsperson.

As a seasoned Senior Draughtsperson, you will have a strong history of design, civil engineering and leading teams, ensuring that engineering drawings are produced accurately and on schedule for a variety of projects.

Senior Draughtsperson role & responsibilities:

Creating new designs using 2D & 3D CAD to support new projects.
Support technical department with design verification information – e.g.: FEA calculation or Stress calcs.
Generate bills of materials and fabrication / assembly information
Compiling reports summarising design decisions & verification
Liaising with customers by telephone and e-mail correspondence with regards to drawings and approvals where required
Senior team members will be expected to support junior colleagues in mentoring and training where appropriate.

The position is well suited to someone who has:

Civil engineering experience
Knowledge of MicroStation, SolidEdge or similar
HND/HNC or equivalent in engineering
Team leader experience

Senior Draughtsperson Salary & Benefits:

Salary per annum £40,000 to £45,000
